This is a procedure where laparoscopically a mesh is put on the rectum after dissection to the pelvic floor. This is then hitched to the sacrum to provide a traction and raise the pelvic floor taking care of the intussusception and straightening the rectum
This can be combined with sacrocolpo suspension etc. to raise the uterus or the vaginal
It is the treatment of choice in females with a weak pelvic floor
